Part VII (June 3, 1998)

What was the joint like? Imagine being stuck on a transcontinental flight. They too control when you eat, when you are allowed to stand up, and what you breathe. And in between - you get to be herded around. Except this isn't just for a couple of hours...

What really impressed me the most though, was the way the Superintendent heading the procession of cars from the Old Jail to the new Correctional Facility drove through Dedham right in front of me.

Besides the amazing variety of lighting effects he briefly created with the various combinations of red, white and blue lights concealed in his otherwise state-issued Taurus, he also:

All of it on a half a mile long trip. Way to go, Peter P.!

Take Every Ticket To Trial!
Fight Mandatory Sentencing!
Ban Cruel Speed Traps!
